المهارات - Managing the strategic sourcing process. - Demonstrate the technical proficiency in the end-to-end purchasing process and acts in a consultative manner to support the transactional procurement activities in his/her section. - Supports in establishing guidelines for the procurement process which lead to improved efficiency and effectiveness in purchasing activities. - Develops and executes the Sourcing/Negotiation Plans for assigned category and commodity areas. - Responsible for conducting the needed Market Analysis. - Responsible for conducting the needed assessments to evaluate the Supply Risk of the required items. - Responsible of backing up & securing the needs from raw & packaging material. - Managing the related Lead and senior buyers to ensure timely supply with best possible prices and quality. - Participating in the NPI projects to ensure the successful introduction of the new product and ensuring the timely supply of any needed new packaging material. - Responsible of providing the needed quotations to allow the purchase requesters to issue their Purchase requisitions will all needed detailed specifications. - Responsible of making the agreements with the suppliers either with local or foreign Suppliers. - Responsible for conducting the Supplier Evaluation for those selected vendors. - Responsible for embedding accurate Master Data into the SAP system. - Responsible for the timely supply of Import documentation to ensure the timely custom clearance and hence avoiding any delays and/or demurrage fines. - Responsible of setting the expected delivery dates. - Following up with the supplier until the arrival of shipments in the required dates. - Following up with the customs department upon the goods clearance - Updating the vendor list & working on ensuring a list of backup suppliers. - Responsible for coaching the buyers and their continuous development. - Extended Knowledge of the Procurement Process as well as the purchased items. - Excellent Leadership skills. - Very good Problem solving skills. - Fluent usage of English language. - Good usage of computers, Internet & Search engines. - Experience in related Fields. - SAP knowledge is a plus.
